I agree with M. Villeneuve, they need to actually hire more people and it is false to say there is a lack if talent, it's a lack of hiring.
We don't need yet another government department nor another high paid Minister. The Canadian Center for Cyber Security exists already, does a great job, has dedicated staff, and is producing results despite the typical government bureaucracy we have come to expect. We we need to do is properly fund the teams of cyber security specialists we already have and let them do their job.
So maybe Evan Solomon could work with David J. McGinty Min. of Def.?
