Government of Ontario Planning Cyber and Security Mission to US

Government of Ontario will head to the US in September with a Cyber and Security trade mission

The Government of Ontario recently announced their intention to lead a “cyber and security mission to Washington, DC,” from 3 to 6 September 2024. It sounds like a very busy three days will be a great opportunity for any cyber security company.

Firms that join the trade mission will benefit from:

• 1 pass for the Billington Cybersecurity Summit,

• Attendance to the Canadian Cyber Security Reception,

• A B2B program subject to buyer’s interest,

• Sector/market-specific briefing on the current U.S. and ICT trends and opportunities,

• Database of potential buyers in the U.S.,

• One-on-one export advice and consultations

Costs are estimated at approximately $2,000 per company, with extra travel and accommodations.

To qualify, companies must:

• Have experience selling to large companies or governments,

• Based in Ontario with an exportable product or services,

• Have at least 3 employees in Ontario,

• At least $100,000 in revenue for the past fiscal year,

• Have been in business for at least 2 full years.
